Wallbank Industrial STEM Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Wallbank Industrial STEM Scholarship! We’re excited to support local students in furthering a career in STEM.  Please complete this application and upload the following documents no later than Friday, April 11, 2025. The selection process will take place in April with recipients being notified via email in early May. 

Who is Wallbank Industrial? 

Wallbank Industrial consists of two unique manufacturing companies – P.J. Wallbank Springs, Inc. and Edison Manufacturing and Engineering. Both currently serve the automotive and mobility industries with exciting growth plans to impact other markets. While what they do is very different, both companies are founded on the same principles and core values. Wallbank Industrial is focused on making an impact through people. This starts by engaging with our local schools and supporting students in the pursuit of their dreams.

Who is Eligible to Apply 

  • Graduating seniors from Port Huron High or Port Huron Northern
  • Graduating seniors from any local high school who are participating on a BWARA FIRST Robotics Team
  • Enrolled at a college, university, or trade school pursing a STEM related field 

Application Process  

  • Scholarship information and application become available at the BWARA practice field and in the counseling offices at Port Huron and Port Huron Northern High Schools in February. 
  • Complete the online application or email the completed paper application and supporting documents to Alexa Orr, [email protected], by April 11, 2025.  
  • The selection process and potential interviews will take place in April with recipients being notified via email in early May. 
  • All winners (and up to two guests) will be invited to attend a scholarship dinner with company leaders.
